This is a permanent open log for anything that takes place in Honir's temple. Using this log is completely optional and you are welcome to use the log community instead. This is just one easy way to get an NPC handler's eyes on something you may want Honir to be aware of, whether the god actually makes an appearance in your thread or not. You are welcome to play out threads with other characters as well, or even just leave your own comment of something your character is doing alone in the temple. This is a completely open action log for literally anything.

If your character wishes to make contact with Honir, you can simply leave a comment here with an OOC note or plot it out ahead of time! How your character attempts to gain his attention is their choice, just as it is his choice whether or not to respond. Comments on this post are valid for AC.

[ The moment Lalli's explanation of "no smell = no taste" registers with him, Honir's eyes light up and he makes an excited mm while his mouth is still full of food. He has to force himself to swallow to be able to speak. What a process, chewing! ]

So that's why it tasted like sadness! But it might still be food? Would you try it for me?

[ And without waiting for an answer, Honir will hold out his hand and very sincerely, honestly and excitedly curious, offers Lalli a paper napkin. Just. A brown fucking paper napkin. ]

❰ the next bit of conversation is a bit of a whirlwind. honir says that something tasted like sadness, but he's happy about it. he wants lalli to try another food, but all he offers is -

a napkin??

lalli looks down at the napkin, then back up at honir, then down at the napkin again. he very briefly considers the possibility that this is a joke, but honir's face looks so earnest that in this moment, lalli feels inexplicably endeared to this dumb delighted man-god. ❱

That's a napkin, ❰ he says, sounding a bit more bemused than he intended to. his eyes lift once again to honir, because: ❱ You ate a napkin?

[ Aw, nuts. Honir's not the most intuitive, but he's heard that tone enough times to know he did an oops again. ]

Only half.

He withdraws his hand to hold the napkin up in front of him, looking at it from side to side. ]

What do you do with it, then? A napkin.

You wipe things, I guess. Spills, or if you get food on your face.
